BALI – Tegalagang Rice Terraces & Luwak Coffee Tasting

Fashionique goes to Bali

Always wanted to see this! The Tegalagang Rice Terraces located north of Ubud are definitely a MUST SEE in Bali! It’s as if nature was showing us how grand and majestic it is, making us realize how we’re just humans in the face of it all. Our next stop was Bali Pulina – a luwak coffee plantation. And what is a luwak? In English, it’s called the Asian palm civet. This animal eats the coffee berries and then…poops out the beans. The pooped out beans are collected, dried, shelled, and roasted. Kopi luwak is known as the most expensive coffee in the world. So the most expensive coffee in the world is a poop coffee! After a little tour we went to the tasting area. Well I wasn’t too impressed of this luwak coffee, for me it was too much strong and I like my coffees more sweet and soft. But the teas and the other coffees – for example the vanilla and chocolate coffee were SO, SO GOOD! I was in heaven, my boyfriend can tell :D. This was one of the best days of my life!
