We’ve spent our last week in Bali just chilling in Seminyak and it was way too perrrrrfect! Seminyak is Bali’s most fashionable beach, home to among the island’s luxurious resorts and host to a number of fine restaurants and boutiques. It has a huuuuge variety of shops, including boutique clothing stores, furniture stores, markets, art galleries and great places to eat and drink. There is something to suit everyones taste of food, with local warungs and fine dining, and a variety of international cuisines. One thing you shouldn’t miss is watching a beautiful sunset with a Bintang beer or cocktail in hand at one of the many beach bars. This place is heaven for young people!
We fell in love with restaurant The Junction. The location is just next to the Seminyak square which is very convenient. Service was excellent and the design is very simple and creative. Food was very good and well priced, had one of the best nasi gorengs I’ve had in 2 weeks in Bali here.
Sisterfields – modern, chic, trendy & cool! I love everything about Sisterfields! The atmosphere is very casual, food is tasty – great experience!
The shopping in Seminyak is amazing! From international surf shops, vintage stores to the trendiest designer boutiques… Each store represents his own style and is special. A lot of fashion boutiques are mixed with vintage furniture. I left my heart there on so many places…
Magali Pascal is one of the best bohemian style stores I’ve ever been too. With high-end designs yet easy-to-wear pieces, you can expect to put together a combination of luscious silks, laces and soft fabrics to create an urban vintage look.
Deus Ex Machina – pure heaven for surfers!
Get lost in a bikini wonderland! Check out Blue Glue Bikinis! You can never have too many bikinis, right? 😉
Reading Luckiest Girl Alive, a thriller by Jessica Knoll while being the luckiest girl alive. Book & Beach – best combination!
The Coffee Library – we loved this place so much we returned several times! The staff are very friendly and the cocktails refreshing and delicious. All the food we ate was of top quality and the prices were reasonable. A cute and trendy little cafe / cocktail bar at night.
One day we went to see Kuta – a big party town, next to Seminyak. It’s particularly popular with Australians and all the party people from all over the world. We went to see the town, there is a huge shopping centre with a lot of shops and great restaurants and coffee shops. Later, we took a walk on the Kuta beach – a 8 km long wide, white sand beach. Unfortunately, the weather was bad that day, we had a heavy rain so we just kept exploring the city.
The Jas Villas – We wanted a private villa again, so we booked the Jas Villas. It is a perfect location – quiet with just a short 2 minute walk to the main stretch of restaurants and shops. The villa was always clean and tidy and the staff we’re friendly. I fell in love with the bathroom!
